And my next challenge will be...

30 day Push Up Challenge!

I really enjoyed the 30 day squat challenge. It gave me a daily fitness goal and the feeling of satisfaction after finishing each day was awesome! So here I go again, this time push ups! Interesting part about this challenge, is that it requires 4 different types of push ups, so that should keep it fun!

I have been known to "drop and give me 20" in hotels, at friends houses, etc., so I imagine I will be doing push ups wherever and whenever throughout my day to get in my daily goal - just like doing squats while at the hair salon with hair dye soaking, right?

  1. Day 1 done. Only 1 of each of the 5 types. This is going to get tough quickly!

  2. Day 2 was a workout day...so I didn't follow the chart and do only 10 pushups (2 of each type) - instead I did 3 sets of 16 on dumbbells with a lift incorporated. Nice! Today might be rough as I'm sore from yesterday. Gotta do it!

  3. Day 3 was a rest day - and I needed it after my workout on Day 2! Day 4 was today and I only had to do 2 reps of each exercise, so that was pretty easy. My upper body is quite sore still today from my workout, but it felt good to use these pushups as stretches/warm ups.

  4. Day 5 brings me 3 sets of each (1 rep each set). I did it in one long set. Arms were getting fatigued towards the end, as it was a total of 18 pushups. I think tomorrow is a rest day - maybe I'll do 250 squats instead!

  5. Day 7, 2 sets of 2 reps each. Got my heart pumping! Feeling great!
